How WimsConnect collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information across our platform and connected advertising services.

1 About WimsConnect LLC

WimsConnect LLC is an independent technology company providing digital advertising planning, authorization, booking, campaign management, and reporting services through the WimsConnect platform.

In this Privacy Notice, “WimsConnect,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to WimsConnect LLC.

Advertising agencies, media companies, brands, advertisers, and other organizations using WimsConnect are customers of the platform. These customer organizations do not own or operate WimsConnect LLC.

This Privacy Notice explains how WimsConnect LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when individuals and organizations use the WimsConnect website, platform, organization workspaces, and advertising-platform integrations, including Amazon Ads.

2 Information We Collect

Depending on how WimsConnect is used, we may collect the following information.

Information provided by users and customer organizations

This may include:

  • Name
  • Business email address
  • Telephone number
  • Job title and organizational role
  • Company, agency, advertiser, or client name
  • Account and workspace information
  • Campaign instructions and approvals
  • Proposals, insertion orders, creative assets, reports, and related documents
  • Support requests and communications provided directly to WimsConnect

Amazon Ads and connected-account information

When an authorized user connects an Amazon Ads account to WimsConnect, we may receive or process:

  • Amazon Ads advertiser and account identifiers
  • Advertising profile information
  • Marketplace and account permissions
  • Authorization tokens used to maintain the approved connection
  • Campaign, ad group, creative, targeting, placement, budget, order, booking, and delivery information
  • Campaign status, reporting, measurement, and performance information
  • Instructions and approvals submitted through WimsConnect

WimsConnect does not receive or store a user’s Amazon account password. Amazon manages the authentication process and provides WimsConnect with authorization appropriate to the permissions approved by the user.

Technical and usage information

We may collect technical information needed to operate and secure WimsConnect, including:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser and device information
  • Sign-in, authorization, and security logs
  • Date and time of platform activity
  • Pages and features accessed
  • System errors, diagnostic information, and audit history
  • Cookies and similar technologies required for authentication, session management, security, and platform operation

3 How We Use Information

WimsConnect may use information to:

  • Create, administer, and secure accounts and organization workspaces
  • Authenticate users and verify their permissions
  • Connect authorized advertiser accounts with Amazon Ads and other advertising platforms
  • Prepare, review, approve, book, manage, and reconcile advertising campaigns
  • Retrieve campaign status, delivery, reporting, and performance information
  • Generate proposals, insertion orders, reports, and advertising documentation
  • Provide customer service and technical support
  • Maintain security, audit trails, fraud prevention, and platform reliability
  • Diagnose technical problems and improve platform functionality
  • Fulfill contractual obligations
  • Comply with applicable laws, legal processes, and advertising-platform requirements

WimsConnect uses Amazon Ads information only to provide, secure, support, and improve the advertising-management services authorized by the applicable advertiser or customer organization.

4 Workspace Data and Access

Each customer organization receives access to its authorized WimsConnect workspace and data.

Information may be accessible to authorized users within the applicable customer organization based on their assigned roles and permissions. Customer organizations are responsible for determining which individuals are authorized to access their workspace and connected advertiser accounts.

WimsConnect uses safeguards designed to separate customer information and prevent one customer organization from accessing another organization’s information without authorization.

5 How We Disclose Information

WimsConnect may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Authorized workspace users

Information may be available to authorized users within the applicable advertiser, agency, media company, brand, or client workspace.

Advertising platforms

When instructed or authorized by a user, WimsConnect may transmit campaign instructions, creative materials, targeting information, budgets, booking details, and related data to Amazon Ads or another connected advertising platform.

Service providers

WimsConnect may engage service providers that perform hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, data storage, email delivery, document processing, security, support, and diagnostic services.

These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for WimsConnect and are expected to protect the information they process.

Legal and security purposes

WimsConnect may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental request; enforce agreements; protect WimsConnect, its customers, or others; or investigate fraud, misuse, security threats, or illegal activity.

Business transactions

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements.

WimsConnect does not sell Amazon Ads information, Amazon authorization tokens, or personal information collected through the Amazon Ads integration. WimsConnect does not use Amazon Ads API data for unrelated consumer profiling.

6 Amazon Ads Authorization and Consent

Connecting an Amazon Ads account to WimsConnect is voluntary and must be completed by an authorized user.

The Amazon authorization screen identifies the permissions WimsConnect is requesting. WimsConnect will access only the information and functionality permitted by the authorization granted through Amazon.

An authorized user may revoke WimsConnect’s access through the applicable Amazon account or permissions settings. Users may also contact WimsConnect at wimsconnect@gmail.com for assistance disconnecting an Amazon Ads account.

After authorization is revoked, WimsConnect will stop using the applicable authorization credentials. WimsConnect may retain campaign records, audit history, transaction records, and other information when reasonably required for legal, contractual, security, billing, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.

7 Data Retention

WimsConnect retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the WimsConnect service
  • Maintain the applicable customer or advertiser relationship
  • Complete authorized advertising activity
  • Meet contractual and accounting obligations
  • Maintain security and audit records
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated in accordance with WimsConnect’s operational and legal obligations.

8 Data Security

WimsConnect uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.

These safeguards may include access controls, workspace separation, role-based permissions, encryption, authentication protections, audit logging, restricted credential handling, backups, and monitoring.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and promptly notifying WimsConnect of suspected unauthorized access.

9 Privacy Choices and Requests

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the relationship, individuals may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

Requests may be submitted to wimsconnect@gmail.com. WimsConnect may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before completing a request.

Certain information may be retained when required for contractual, security, legal, audit, or recordkeeping purposes.

Users may disconnect an Amazon Ads account or revoke its authorization through Amazon’s applicable permissions controls.

10 Children’s Privacy

WimsConnect is a business advertising platform and is not directed to children under 13. WimsConnect does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

11 Third-Party Services

WimsConnect may contain links to or integrations with Amazon and other third-party services. Those services maintain their own privacy notices, terms, and security practices.

This Privacy Notice does not govern information processed independently by those third parties.

12 Changes to This Privacy Notice

WimsConnect LLC may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes to the platform, connected services, legal requirements, or data practices.

When changes are made, WimsConnect will update the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of this page.
